Our Mission

Two things that make me extraordinarily happy are sailing and great food. Add to this, helping others who have not had the same opportunities as myself, and you have a trifecta of joy.

 Because many of these children and their families are experiencing food insecurity, I am committed to providing a meal so that sailing and observing the world around them from a different perspective can more fully be absorbed.

I love the idea of potentially opening the minds of our youth, offering them a glimpse into a way of living that is likely foreign to them. I will build them up by making each one an honorary Captain and addressing them as Captain. 

In the spirit of supporting one another, each child will refer to the other as Captain, followed by his or her name.
